Send Me Your Selfies / @sendmeyourselfies

Started in 2012, An ongoing series of small oil paintings on cardboard based on selfies submitted by consenting adults. At once intimate and mediated, the project explores how digital images—especially nude or vulnerable ones—are shaped by technologies of looking, desire, and control. Through slow, physical translation into paint, each portrait reclaims presence and complexity.

The only rule is: it must be a photo you’ve taken of yourself.

I request you use a reflective surface (mirror, window) and natural light, but it is not required. Nudity is also not required, simply a content preference. LoRes photos are best.

You may choose to remain anonymous in the title.
